 Jan Biering
is currently Head of Research Institute for Beer and Beverage Production (FIBGP) within the Versuchs- und Lehranstalt für Brauerei in Berlin (VLB). Jan has a Dipl.-Ing Biotechnology/ Brewing science (1997-2003) which he received from the Technical University of Berlin and has also done an apprenticeship as brewer and maltster (1995- 1997) at Kulmbacher Brauereien in Kulmbach. Earlier he was the plant manager, Schlossbrauerei Schwarzbach from 2003-2011.
 Prof. Dr. Christine Lang
is a recognized expert on lactic acid bacteria. She was the founder and managing director of Organobalance GmbH, which specializes in microbial strain development and microbiological screening, particularly for lactic acid bacteria. She is also a professor at the Institute of Biotechnology at the Technical University of Berlin and a director of Belano Medical AG in Hennigsdorf.
 Peter Majer
is a marketing expert with focus on business development and licensing deals in the life science industry. He was managing director of Stada Consumer Health GmbH and International Brand Director for OTC and RX brands of Stada Arzneimittel AG.
 Prof. Dr. Heinz Reichmann
is a specialist in neurology and currently Director of the Clinic and Polyclinic for Neurology at the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus. He is a recognized expert on Parkinson's disease and has served as chairman of the German Parkinson Society, the German Society of Neurology, and the European Neurological Society.
 Prof. Dr. Burkhard Schütz
is managing partner and medical director of the diagnostics company Biovis Diagnostik MVZ GmbH. Biovis specializes, amongst other things, in the diagnostics of mitochondria, whereby the Bioenergetic Health Index (BHI) is of particular importance in determining mitochondrial activity.
